Dr. James Tuorila, PhD, is serving his fourth, non-consecutive term, as the Surgeon General of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States. Dr. Tuorila's current term began at the VFW National Convention in Louisville, KY on August 1, 2024 and will end at the conclusion of the VFW National Convention in Columbus, OH on August 13, 2025.
