One of the perks of being the Department Commander is choosing a Veterans organization or non-profit to highlight and for which to raise funds. The project this year is "Walleyes for Warriors" and "Veterans on the Water".

The Department of Minnesota Commander Dan Meyer and Auxiliary Department of Minnesota President Dave Scofield would like for you to help them fund raise for the Minnesota VFW Charitable Association for two organizations. All donations raised between July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024 will be split equal between the two organizations at the end of the elected year, June 2024.
"Veterans on the Water" of Arlington, MN (in memory of Steve Gillespie) and Warriors and Walleyes Outdoors out of the Wood Lake, MN. Both of these wonderful organizations provide FREE therapeutic outdoor fishing trips to veterans, servicemembers, and their families. Visit their Websites and Facebook pages for more information.
